Course Profile<\/a><\/strong><\/b><\/h4>\n

This course aims to provide students with knowledge and understanding of the development of Contemporary Visual Art in Indonesia and globally, as well as inspire them in conceptualizing contemporary artworks.<\/p>\n

Course Relevance (Urgency)<\/strong><\/b><\/a><\/h4>\n

Equips students with knowledge about the development of contemporary visual artworks in Indonesia and the world.
Prepares students to recognize and understand conceptual backgrounds in contemporary artworks, and present their individual skills and interests in painting, film, photography, and intermedia, based on their understanding of contemporary art ideas.
Students will apply creative processes such as brainstorming, sketching, and idea exploration in integrating artworks with foundational concepts of contemporary visual art.<\/p>\n

This course is integrated with other subjects, especially Creative Experimentation and Visual Art Studio courses that produce artistic works.
It serves as a foundational course for initiating artwork creation and building a portfolio based on each student\u2019s specialization by applying contemporary art ideas and concepts.<\/p>\n
