WELCOME TO ONLINE LEARNING IN DATABASE SYSTEMS COURSE

Course Profile

This course is present in the 2020 curriculum of S1 Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Informatics. This course studies the basic concepts and architecture of database systems, file and index structures, query processing, transaction processing, and database recovery.

Relevance of Database System Course

1. Competencies in this course can be used in managing database systems.
2. This course is a foundation in data management that supports the performance of intelligent systems in processing data and producing information precisely (consistently) and efficiently.

Relevance of this Constitutional Court to other Constitutional Courts (Prerequisites)

Before taking this course, students should have an understanding of databases and what queries can be executed to fulfill business needs. Furthermore, in this course, students will learn how to manage databases to meet these business needs.

Based on experience since 2016, the best way to learn is by doing the assignments given (project based learning). For concept understanding, the best way to learn is to make a mind mapping of the concept and then present it through video presentation or oral presentation.
