Profile and History

The Information Technology Service Management (MLTI) course is a compulsory course in the 2020 curriculum of the Information Technology study program offered at level II (Semester III). This course discusses how to understand and actualize policies, organize, structure processes and supporting procedures applied by an organization to design, deliver, operate, and control information technology services to consumers.

The focus of MLTI is to ensure the quality of service of the organization/company and focus on customer relationships by using information technology. The field of study of organizational resources that are managed includes technology, human resources, processes within the organization, and information. From this definition, MLTI is different from technology-oriented management such as network management and information technology-based system management.

Relevance in the study program

MLTI is a compulsory course in the 2020 curriculum of the Bachelor of Information Technology study program. MLTI is a basic part of IT management which is a fundamental material in the Information Technology study program. In the 2017 ACM computing curricula information technology, MLTI is a compulsory course that must be offered to Information Technology study program students.
