Course Profile
This course is present in the 2020 curriculum of the Undergraduate Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Informatics. In this course, we study the basic concepts and architecture of database systems, file and index structures, query processing, transaction processing, and database recovery.

This course is a foundation in data management that supports the performance of intelligent systems in processing data and producing information appropriately (consistently) and efficiently.

Before taking this course, students must have an understanding of databases and what queries can be executed to meet business needs. Furthermore, in this course, students learn how to manage databases to meet these business needs.
